Reviews

Great bed for younger kids

"This bed looked great in my daughter’s room and was very sturdy, but unfortunately the space underneath was not suitable for an 11 year old to really use the desk. Would be great for younger kids."

— Samantha W. (4/5)

Great Loft Bed

"Purchased the loft bed and had it delivered to Melbourne. No issues with delivery, there was a lot of communication. Putting it together with two people was completely doable. Ignore the review in that said it took 15+ hours, it took us 4. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I chose this bed because of its simple design and went the double option so it would grow with my kid. It also fits the IKEA mattress. Overall I think it's a great price point for the features offered."

— Alicia G. (5/5)

Not impressed

"This bunk was very difficult to put up because there were missing bolts/screws, there were mistakes in the instructions, meaning having to redo steps and there were pieces of wood labelled incorrectly, also causing confusion when following the instructions."

— Alison (5/5)

Nice bed, quality isn't great

"For the most part the bed is as expected. Some parts were mislabelled and there are a few chips in the wood as its only cheap. Not overly happy with the quality."

— CS (4/5)

Solid bed for smaller kids

"This is a very solid bed and looked good in my daughter’s room, but I wish I’d got it when she was younger. As an 11 year old it wasn’t very practical for sitting at the desk underneath. Great for smaller kids."

— Sam (4/5)

Very good quality, requires prior experience

"Quality of bed is wonderful and quite sturdy. Mattresses of right size can be hard to find elsewhere, however recommend to buy the matching one that can be found through this shop too. Instructions are a little bit confusing and complicated, and a few prices came mislabelled/not labelled. One of the draws came with a crack through the center but not too significant. Some pre-screwed holes didn’t line up properly however didn’t effect final result as we use counter-techniques. Give yourself lots of time to setup. Took 2 people approximately 17 hours to build. IMPORTANT; the bed does come with railing however was turned around to match the layout of the room to have access to the light switch - personal preference of the buyer."

— Aleisha (4/5)

Great quality & value

"Very happy with the quality of this bed, sturdy & solid timber. Assembly was straight forward. I was able to adapt the design to suit my space, having the opening for the shelving and draws under the bed instead of outside. The drawers in the desk are a little stiff, but completely functional. Overall, very happy."

— JOANNA E. (5/5)

Great quality loft bed

"The Gio double loft bed is great for space in a small room. Very sturdy and great desk and storage underneath"

— Jay (5/5)

Great space saver.

"Delivered on time. The bed came together well and is exactly what we wanted. The instructions were confusing so we did have to redo things a few times, but generally they made sense. First step on ladder is too high, it makes it difficult to get down. We have to use a step stool to get down safely."

— Lucianne L. (4/5)

Loved the loft bed

"This loft bed is fantastic with heaps of storage and a desk my grandson loves his new bed"

— Tracy J. (5/5)
