Sofa Beds

Single, 2 Seater & 3 Seater Sofa Beds  A sofa bed earns its place twice over: everyday seating by day, a guest bed by night. Our collection spans compact 2 seater sofa beds for studios and apartments, roomier 3 seater designs for family lounges, 6 seater sets that furnish a whole room, and single daybeds with a pull-out trundle that sleeps two. Most use a click-clack mechanism, shifting between upright, lounge and flat positions in seconds with no cushions to remove. Choose velvet or bouclé in cream white, black, blush or light grey.  Since 2001 we have focused on furniture that balances design with everyday practicality. Our sofa beds use high-density foam over tensioned webbing, and each carries a minimum three-year warranty, a thirty-day money-back guarantee and fr

Single, 2 Seater and 3 Seater Sofa Beds

The right size depends on how often you host and how much floor you can give up.

A 2 seater sofa bed is the smallest convertible in the range and the easiest to place — it suits studios, home offices, rentals and spare rooms where a full lounge would dominate. A 3 seater sofa bed gives you proper everyday seating that happens to convert, which makes it the better choice if this is your main sofa rather than a guest-room extra. Both open into a compact sleeping surface rather than a standard mattress size, so they suit occasional guests rather than nightly sleeping.

If you need a full-size guest bed, our single daybeds take a standard single mattress (188 × 92cm) and hide a second in a pull-out trundle underneath — two proper beds from one footprint. Mattresses are bought separately, with a maximum height of 20cm for each.

For a whole room in one order, our 6 seater sofa bed sets pair a three-seater with a two-seater and an armchair in matching upholstery, listed as 3+2+1 seater in the filters. Every piece converts, so the full set turns a lounge into three separate sleeping surfaces — useful when more than one guest stays. You can also split the pieces across a lounge and a study rather than grouping them. If you are furnishing from scratch, our living room packages extend the same idea across tables and storage.

How Click-Clack and Trundle Sofa Beds Convert

Most of our range uses a click-clack mechanism . You lift the seat until it clicks, then lower it into one of three positions — upright for sitting, reclined for lounging, and flat for sleeping. No cushions to remove, no mattress to haul out, no frame to drag across the floor. It is also more forgiving in a tight room: because the seat folds flat rather than extending forward on a frame, a click-clack needs noticeably less clearance in front than a traditional pull-out. The mattress is built in, so nothing further is needed.

Trundle daybeds work differently. The daybed itself takes a single mattress, and a second bed on castors rolls out from underneath — useful when you need two separate beds rather than one larger one. The daybed carries up to 100kg and the trundle up to 75kg. Mattresses are not included, which keeps the entry price lower but means budgeting for two.

Underneath the upholstery, construction matters more than the mechanism. Our click-clack designs use hardwood rails, engineered panels and a spring support system. Weight capacity runs to 300kg on a three-seater, 240kg on a two-seater and 120kg on an armchair. Every sofa bed is covered by a minimum three-year warranty .

Velvet and Bouclé Sofa Beds

Fabric changes how a sofa bed looks and how it wears. Velvet has a dense, light-catching pile that reads as more formal and resists pilling and fading — it is the most represented fabric in our range, available in blush, black and light grey. Bouclé has a looped, woolly texture that feels softer and hides everyday marks well, which makes it a practical choice in a busy household. Ours comes in cream white.

Both are polyester-based rather than natural fibre, so they handle spills and claws better than linen or cotton. Blot rather than rub, and vacuum with a soft brush attachment to stop dust settling into the weave.

Colour-wise, cream white suits light, minimal rooms and makes a small space read larger. Black anchors a darker scheme. Blush adds warmth without committing to a strong colour. If you want the same fabrics in a non-convertible sofa, browse our bouclé sofas and velvet sofas .

Sofa Beds for Apartments, Studios and Guest Rooms

A sofa bed is the honest answer to not having a spare room. In a studio or one-bedroom apartment it gives you a lounge that becomes a bed for visitors, without permanently losing floor space to a guest bed that sits unused most of the year.

Be realistic about what you need it for. Click-clack designs are built for occasional guest use rather than nightly sleeping — if someone will sleep on it every night, a dedicated bed frame and mattress is the better buy, or choose a trundle daybed that takes a full-size single. For a few nights at a time, the compact sizes do the job well, and our customer reviews consistently mention how neatly they fit smaller rooms.

Plan the surrounding layout before you buy. Leave walking room in front for the converted bed, and position a side table where it can double as a bedside surface. A coffee table that shifts easily helps when the bed is out.

FAQs

How does a click-clack sofa bed work?

You lift the seat until it clicks, then lower it into position. Three settings are available: upright for sitting, reclined for lounging, and flat for sleeping. There are no cushions to remove and no frame to pull out.

Does the mattress come with a sofa bed?

Click-clack sofa beds have the mattress built in — nothing extra to buy. Trundle daybeds are supplied as a frame only; you will need two single mattresses (188 × 92cm), each no more than 20cm thick.

What size bed does a sofa bed convert to?

Trundle daybeds take a standard single mattress, 188 × 92cm, with a second in the trundle below. Click-clack designs open into a compact sleeping surface rather than a standard mattress size. Exact dimensions are on each product page.

How much weight can a sofa bed hold?

Capacity varies by model. Click-clack designs carry up to 300kg on a three-seater, 240kg on a two-seater and 120kg on an armchair. Trundle daybeds carry 100kg on the daybed and 75kg on the trundle.

Do all pieces in a 6 seater set convert to a bed?

Yes. The three-seater, two-seater and armchair each have their own click-clack mechanism, so the full set provides three separate sleeping surfaces when you need them.

Are sofa beds comfortable enough to sleep on?

For occasional guest use, yes. High-density foam over tensioned webbing gives firmer, more even support than a fold-out spring mattress. For nightly sleeping, a dedicated bed frame and mattress remains the better choice.

What is the best fabric for homes with pets?

Bouclé and velvet both wear better than delicate natural fibres and are easier to spot-clean. Bouclé's looped texture hides marks well, while velvet's dense pile resists pilling. Both are available across the range.

How do I clean and maintain the upholstery?

Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills immediately with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Keep the click-clack mechanism free of dust so it continues to move smoothly.

Do sofa beds arrive assembled?

Basic assembly is required, with instructions and fixings included — usually attaching the legs. An assembly service is available if you would prefer it done for you.

Are sofa beds comfortable for both sitting and sleeping?

Pro-Tip: Many modern sofa beds are designed to deliver supportive comfort across both functions, with features such as foam cushioning, supportive spring construction, and sturdy frames. For the best experience, choose a style that balances plush upholstery with a supportive structure for relaxed daytime seating and restful overnight use.
